13 colourful and close up photos from London Zoo today

There isn’t really much to write about in this post, unless I was to go into technical photography details, which I’m not going to. But it was a gorgeous day in London and very conveniently also my day off with Mr Heather. So we headed up to N1, somewhere I rarely visit and basked in the sunshine with the tigers, butterflies and their other zoo friends. Here are my favourite shots of the day, mostly pretty colourful and close up – my favourite kind of photo.
Do you like them? Have you ever been to London Zoo?

These photographs are really beautiful! There are so many images on the internet, but these really stood out to me this evening so I felt I had to comment! I'd love it if you would consider submitting your work to the Shutter Hub OPEN Exhibition 2015. Also, what's the purple bird? And the funny multi-coloured fluffy one?!

Thanks Karen 🙂 Not sure about the fluffy one, but the purple bird is a starling! I'll definitely looking into that exhibition – thanks for suggesting it! Sarah
