There are so many Christmassy activities in London during the run up to Christmas, it really puts you in the festive mood! I’ve visited a few of the markets and fairs during the past few weeks where you can eat really great fresh food, drink beers and cider, visit beer tents, listen to live music and get lost in the Christmas tree mazes.

1/ Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park – be sure to visit the Bavarian Beer tent for 2 pint steins of beer, live music and fantastic atmosphere. There is food stalls, gorgeous gifts and so much different types food.
2/ Christmas on South Bank – visit the Rekorderlig Cider Lodge at the South Bank Centre for a range of different drinks including hot mulled cider, and a fabulous view over the Christmas Tree maze and other top London sights.
3/ Winterville – an alternative location for christmassy things, an ice rink, hot cider bar and loads of great food!
4/ Real Food Christmas Market – just behind the Royal Festival Hall, this is often around over the weekend, but currently has been serving more festive delicacies such as mulled wine and mince pies that you can much whilst you shop for other mouth watering goodies.
[As you can tell I spend a lot of time on South Bank]
